Class: Adult Acting
Age: 18 & up
Time: 5:30-7:30pm
Description: Students in The Actors’ Workshop will become better performers through the principles of imagination, controlled release of inhibitions, and common sense. Students work on techniques for developing individual talents without trying to “sacrifice the personality in lieu of the method.” With individual attention applied to individual abilities, the student and teacher attempt to discover and emphasize what works and diminish what doesn’t. Monologues, scene study, voice and articulation, character development, improvisation and audition techniques are incorporated to help make each student the best performer they can be.

Age: 8 – 14
Time: 5:00pm-5:50pm
Instructor: Jadie Phelps
Description: This class welcomes tappers of all levels wishing to further their knowledge. Students will learn tap skills/techniques, terminology, and combinations to become a better tapper. If you have experience, this class will be sure to challenge you. If you don’t, it will provide a pace for you to learn from the beginning. Enroll if you want to take a fun and exhilarating class.
*For class, please wear modest clothing comfortable enough to move in. Tap shoes are preferred. No flip-flops, please.
Class: Advanced Tap
Age: 12 – 18
Time: 6:00pm-6:50pm
Instructor: Jadie Phelps
Description: Do you have experience in tap and want to further your tap knowledge? Then this class is the one for you. Students will continue to learn tap skills/techniques, studying the more advanced steps. They will learn more terminology, harder combinations and be pushed to become a better tapper. Come enjoy this fun, exhilarating and challenging class.
*For class, please wear modest clothing comfortable enough to move in. Tap shoes are preferred. No flip-flops, please.

Class: Improv for Adults

Description: Students will learn the beginning basics of Ballet and Tap dance. The fundamental building blocks to a lifetime of dance will be covered in this new course!

Class: Adult Musical Theater Dance
Age: 18 and up
Time: 6:00-6:50pm
Instructor: Makenna Clark
Description: This class is for adult students of all dance levels who would like to further their musical theatre dance experience and help prepare for musical auditions. In this class, students will learn different styles of musical theatre combinations from Broadway! Be prepared to work hard and have a great time!
*For class, please wear modest clothing comfortable enough to move in. Jazz shoes are preferred. No flip-flops, please.
Class: Teen Musical Theater Dance
Age: 13-18
Time: 7:00-7:50pm

Description: In this class, students will learn different styles of musical theatre combinations from Broadway hits!

Class: “Broadway Bound” Musical Theatre for Kids
Age: 8 – 12
Time: 5:00-5:50pm
Instructor: Haley Twaddell
Description: All experience levels welcome! This class will prepare you to become a triple-threat on the stage. Students will be given the opportunity to act, dance, and sing in solo, duet, and ensemble numbers. This is the beginning process to be “Broadway Bound.” Come energized and ready to grow as a performer!

Class: Musical Theatre for Young Adults
Age: 13 – 18
Time: 6:00-6:50pm

Description: This NEW CLASS will teach you and your students how to be a Stage Manager! Taught by GTC Business Director (and one of the best Stage Manager’s in the business) Whitney Shearon, you will learn how to keep an entire production organized from auditions to the closing performance!
